With these decorative panels you can quickly and easily transform unsightly walls and ceilings into decorative surfaces that complement the flooring and your furnishings and show them off to their best advantage. The panels of the Novara series are also very suitable for loft conversions or for hanging ceilings. The all-round 0 cm joint with its softline edge accentuates each individual panel and thus sets visual accents. The tongue and groove profile greatly simplifies the installation of the panels. The walls and ceilings are immediately ready for living after the decorative panels have been installed. You do not have to sand and varnish the panels or wallpaper them. As these Parador panels have a heat resistance of up to 110 °C, you can also integrate lighting elements into the panels without any problems. These wall/ceiling panels are easy to clean. If necessary, you can wipe them with a damp cloth that has been wrung out well. Please do not use a high-pressure cleaner to clean the panels.

The structure of Parador wall/ceiling decor panels

The surface of the panels is formed by a decorative paper that is elaborately printed with solvent-free inks and covered by a layer of melamine resin. This covering protects the panels from mechanical stress and moisture. The decorative paper lies on the MDF core board. This consists of medium density wood fibres and is swell-protected. In addition, it has all-round edge swell protection. This MDF board is very dimensionally stable and reduces the effects of climate fluctuations and other loads. It also has a high bending and breaking strength. Tongue and groove elements are incorporated on the long sides of the MDF board.

Subsequent surface finishing for these wall/ceiling decor panels

You can paint these Parador wall/ceiling panels at any time if necessary. You should use high-quality emulsion or latex paints for this. You may need to apply a bonding primer to the panels before painting. This will depend on the paint you use. You should test the adhesion of the paint to the panels before painting. It would theoretically also be possible to wallpaper the decorative panels afterwards, but this is not recommended because of the joints.
