Wicander's special adhesive for cork floors is suitable for clean and safe bonding of cork floors with cork backs, cork tiles and cork boards indoors. Cork floors of all kinds are glued firmly and precisely to the professionally pre-treated substrate with this odourless and ready-to-use contact adhesive. The latex-based cork floor adhesive from the quality manufacturer Wicanders reliably bonds heat-insulating and natural cork floor coverings to any suitable subfloor. Of course, this first requires careful preparation of the screed or subfloor. The subfloor must - as always when gluing - be level, smooth, dust-free and dry. After careful preparation, apply Wicanders cork floor contact adhesive Latex W-240 evenly and generously to the subfloor and the cork tiles to be laid using a notched trowel. If something goes wrong, that is no problem at all! The water-soluble cork contact adhesive can be removed easily and residue-free from the cork tiles with water when wet. It is important for a convincing result that the temperature in the room is right when gluing the cork floor. It should be between 18ºC and 28ºC with a relative humidity of 35% to 65%. In the cold season, cork floors and cork adhesive must therefore acclimatise in the room for some time. This can also be overnight if temperatures are below zero. Incidentally, the high-performance Wicander cork adhesive in a 5-kilo bucket can also be used without any problems when laying cork floors on hot water underfloor heating systems. Because the temperature is too high on electric underfloor heating systems, this cork adhesive is not recommended for this purpose. When it comes to consumption, you can calculate with about 250 grams per m². One bucket is therefore sufficient on average for areas of about 15 - 20 m².
