Cork exudes a positive aura which, on closer inspection, turns out to be extremely air-purifying and skin-friendly. The breathable natural raw material from the bark of the cork oak combines environmentally friendly concerns with material-technical advantages. While the air-filled plant cells of the material cork can be compared with hard foam, the natural product has equally the same properties to offer. A high degree of flexibility and resistance are particularly appealing in terms of walking comfort, which, when cushioned, is particularly gentle on the joints. The odour and pollutant binding properties of the breathable cork, on the other hand, benefit allergy sufferers and asthmatics. Accordingly, the nature of the emission class A+ is of high quality, which is fully evident in the cork flooring from WICANDERS®. The individual tile, which is made up of several layers, is almost one metre long and has a profile thickness of 10.5 millimetres. With an integrated CORKLOC® - Click connection, the individual pieces can be easily linked together and form a form-fitting surface with a stabilising HDF core. The end result, a use class 23/31 in residential and commercial applications, comes with a 15-year warranty from the manufacturer. The mosaic-like colour facets of the individual tiles are by no means homogeneous and vary in colour. This varies between pearl white and light ivory, which are numbered RAL 1014 and 1015 in the RAL colour palette. The fine-pored joy of light colour selection captivates by an open character, which is comparable with the achromatic colours white, black and grey.
