The 4000 stick plank Scala briefly explained
This parquet stave measures 160 mm by 1750 mm. A practical, well processed tongue and groove system simplifies the installation enormously. The floors are glued over the entire surface.
The plank is composed of two layers. The precious wood layer is 3.5 mm high and comes from certified, sustainable forestry. A transverse middle layer is also made of solid wood and provides stability. It prevents unintentional expansion or contraction of the surface layer. Due to the unusually long durability of the material wood and the optimal quality, the manufacturer gives a guarantee of 30 years.
Grades and surface structures of the 4000 bar plank Scala
The grain of the wood does not only depend on the type of wood, but is also determined by the tree structure. By sorting by hand, HARO separates and classifies different types of structure. The Scala plank is available in the Markant and Sauvage grades. Markant is a classic and natural variation with a gentle structure and knotted grain. Sauvage is a little more lively, with cracks and filled areas also loosening up the grain and giving it a whisper.
The surface is worked out with brushes and thus softly structured. In comparison to the smooth surface, the floorboard looks a little used and shows itself in a trendy garment. It feels soft and warm. Your feet will love this floor. The two longitudinal bevels create a slight 3D effect and give your room that certain something.
Sealant for long durability
With the Scala series, HARO offers two surface treatments that support different applications. The naturaDur surface finish is a natural oil whose properties protect your floor and achieve a matt shine. Damp wiping is possible from time to time. Otherwise it is sufficient to remove dust regularly.
naturaLinplus is also a natural oil based on linseed oil. The wood retains its specific properties and remains breathable. Nevertheless, the oil provides optimum protection against contamination. Your floor can be regularly mopped with this finish and can therefore be used in rooms with more traffic or closer to the entrance. With this generous selection of shapes, designs and embossing, your creativity is challenged and you are sure to find your favourite floor.
