Thanks to its specially embossed surface, knotholes, cracks and pores in the wood can not only be seen but also felt. This makes the floor look even more authentic and gives any room a cosy and natural atmosphere.The structure of this MeisterlaminateIn the centre of this laminate, which is made of several layers, lies an HDF board that is provided with AquaStop edge impregnation. Above the HDF board is the antistatic decorative paper. This is covered by the waterproof, transparent DiamondPro surface. Underneath the HDF board there is a counter-move that gives the laminate plank greater dimensional stability. Beneath this is another 2 mm thick PUR layer as integrated impact sound insulation. These layers are pressed together under great pressure and at high temperatures during the production of Meister laminate. This creates a robust, waterproof plank.Areas of application of the laminateFor living areas, this Meister laminate has the use class NK 23, which means that it is suitable for all living areas. As the laminate is also water-resistant - it can withstand standing water for four hours - it can also be used in damp rooms. The only places it cannot be used are in rooms with a floor drain and wet rooms, such as steam rooms, saunas or shower cubicles. It is also not suitable for outdoor use.For contract use, the laminate has a use class of NK 32, which means it can be used in all commercial spaces with normal floor traffic, such as offices, boutiques or waiting areas. Laying the laminate flooring over underfloor heatingLayingthis laminate flooring over hot water underfloor heating is unproblematic. It can also be laid over an electric underfloor heating system if this extends over the entire floor area and the surface temperature does not exceed 29 °C. In any case, however, moisture control must be ensured. In any case, however, a moisture barrier in the form of a PE foil must be used. This is laid between the subfloor or the underfloor heating and the laminate.
