However, unlike the bark of the birch, for example, cracks in the planks and boards of floors are caused by improper drying. Symbolically adapted, the process was therefore adapted and perfectly staged in favour of an extraordinary interior design. The cracks, which often counteract the strength of the wood, are thus intentional in the wood image and, as under normal circumstances, have no effect on it. Here dry cracks thus form the design.
