While the southern state of Mississippi, historically strongly influenced by the cotton plantations, is also called the magnolia state, the river of the same name can be attributed a certain degree of fame simply because of its size. Together with the Mississippi delta, the swamps of the Atchafalaya Basin are one of the greatest natural wonders of all, which can be seen in the diverse animal and plant life. With these features in mind, MEISTER® created a design floor called MeisterDesign, which reflects the historical facets and distinctive landscape of this state. The Mississippi Wood laminate is thus a homage to the life that lives in the middle of the swamps.

MEISTER® Laminate Mississippi Wood: not only strong in colour!

The emphatically rustic laminate from MEISTER® is not only strong in colour. An 8.0 millimetre thick profile creates the conditions for above-average quality, which extends over several layers of the multi-layer flooring. All in all, we are talking about five layers of high-quality task distribution, which begins at the lower edge of the Mississippi wood laminate. Here, a PUR sound insulation layer was used, which is only 2.0 millimeters thick. Then an HDF middle layer with a backing layer ensures that the dimensionally stable living space enrichment has a service class of 23/32. This means that the MeisterDesign design floor can be integrated into any living space, at least functionally. This also applies to damp rooms, as the profile is impregnated with AquaStop edge treatment.

The flooring, which can also be laid in the office, also consists of a Diamond Pro® surface and an antistatic decorative layer, so that advantages such as easy-care and durability are already apparent. This high quality is underpinned by an abrasion class AC4 and the guaranteed lifetime of the flooring is at least 25 years in the living area. The EPLF and PEFC-certified material has been verified by the independent Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V. and has also been awarded a Blue Angel. This results in the following advantages:

Mississippi Wood, the strong wood color from the vast swamps!

The deep incisions in the wood of the MEISTER® Mississippi Wood laminate can only reflect the survival that takes place every day in the depths of the swamps. With a colour pattern that varies between ochre brown, black brown and light beige, depending on the incidence of light, the floor surface as a whole appears very rustic. The silky-matt shining and washed-out colours can be pleasantly enhanced with fresh spring colours, so that a light magnolia breeze wafts through the light-flooded room. This is also achieved with soft skins and similar highlights, which counteract the strong colour of the laminate flooring, especially in light shades.
