The Cap-Verde or green Cap forms the western tip of Africa and is home to the city of Dakar. The name of the Dakar Oak, which the brand manufacturer MEISTER® chose for a light beige and natural-looking laminate from the MeisterDesign range, was inspired by the landscape of the barren peninsula consisting of volcanic rock. Covered in drifting sand, the relief of this region shimmers between brown-beige and beige when viewed from a considerable height, which also reflect the characteristics of this design floor. This is already proven by the Diamond Pro® surface, which has an abrasion class AC4 and is water-resistant for up to 24 hours. The necessary moisture protection and thus suitability for use in a damp room is provided by edge impregnation on the so-called AquaSafe middle layer, which forms the dimensionally stable core of the entire construction. Its durability is ultimately the reason why the laminate flooring has been assigned use classes 23/32.
