The large-format country house planks with the circumferential joints, supported by the high-quality decor film and the special surface embossing, create the impression of a real wood floor. At the same time, this laminate is healthy to live with, robust, durable and easy to care for. The material used comes from sustainable forestry and is fully recyclable. With the Safe-Lock Pro connection technology, it is laid as a floating floor. This means that only the individual planks are connected to each other without glue. This is quick and does not require great craftsmanship. In addition, the flooring can be removed at any time without leaving any residue. On which subfloors can this Parador laminate flooring be installed?Every subfloor on which you want to install this laminate flooring must be even, solid, dry and clean. Even means that unevenness of no more than 3 millimetres per 1 metre is allowed. You can compensate for this by using a suitable underlay mat. Larger unevennesses would lead to the click connections being damaged in the long run. Therefore, these unevennesses must be evened out with a suitable levelling compound. Often the laminate is to be laid on a mineral subfloor - for example concrete, screed or stone. In this case, you will need a vapour barrier to prevent moisture from penetrating the laminate from below. This vapour barrier consists of a 0.2 mm thick PE film that you lay between the substrate and the laminate. When installing on a screed, you must also ensure that the screed does not exceed these moisture values: 2 CM % for cement screed, 1.8 CM % for cement screed with underfloor heating, 0.5 CM % for anhydrite screed and 0.3 CM % for anhydrite screed with underfloor heating. The CM stands for the measuring method.You can also lay the laminate on existing linoleum, CV, PVC or wood flooring if these meet the requirements. Carpeting, on the other hand, is unsuitable as a subfloor. When installing on wooden planks, you should lay the laminate across the direction of the planks.
