Despite its metallic appearance, this Skaben design floor is exceptionally quiet and resilient. Unlike a real metal floor, it is always pleasantly warm underfoot. Since it is also waterproof and thus suitable for use in damp rooms and is also slip-resistant, it makes an exceptionally good floor covering in bathrooms. Its full-surface bonding additionally ensures that no moisture can penetrate the flooring from below. You can also install it over underfloor heating without any problems.What needs to be taken into account when cleaning and maintaining this Skaben design floor?The wear layer of this Skaben design floor is protected by a PU Protect + lacquer. Therefore, its surface is resistant to stains and the floor is usually easy to clean. Major maintenance, such as a new sealing with a PU seal, is required only after prolonged use with high load and should then be carried out by a professional company. For normal cleaning, sweep or vacuum the floor and, if necessary, mop it afterwards, not too wet. To do this, add a PU cleaner diluted 1:200 to the mopping water. If necessary, you can also disinfect the floor with a colorless disinfectant. To remove stubborn traces of use, such as abrasion from heels or similar, apply the cleaner undiluted to a cloth and use it to remove these traces.
