Since the tiles are also waterproof, nothing stands in the way of their use in damp rooms, such as kitchens or bathrooms. Due to its low thickness, this design floor is ideal for renovation or modernization work.Install this Skaben design floor over underfloor heatingDue toits structure and full-surface bonding, this flooring is ideally suited for installation over water-bearing underfloor heating. You just need to make sure that the surface temperature of the design floor does not exceed 28 °C permanently. The thermal resistance of the Skaben design floor of only 0.02 m²K/W guarantees that the heat from the heating system passes well through the floor covering into the room. The full-surface bonding also contributes to this - it prevents an air cushion from forming between the subfloor or heating and the floor covering. This would partially shield the heat from the heater. This would then require a higher heating output for the same room temperature.
