The trend color of recent years, if not decades: gray is also the focus of the new POLISHED CONCRETE INDIUM design floor from TARKETT®. Here, the brand manufacturer refers quite specifically to the by-product INDIUM obtained from the extraction of zinc and lead. This heavy metal and chemical element impresses with a silvery-white shimmer and is almost exclusively used for alloys. Indium oxides, on the other hand, shine with a color-saturated blue. In the present case, on the other hand, the coloration has the effect of pure metallic naturalness, which can also be compared with the concrete look. Furthermore, the manufacturer has added a UV coating to this final flooring layer, so that fading of the coloring can be ruled out. The profile, composed of a total of five layers, gets its stability from a core structure called RIGID COMPOSITE CORE. This also increases wear resistance to compressive loads and maintains moisture resistance. The flooring can therefore be used in damp areas and over underfloor heating.
