The planks of this design floor are made up of several layers. Each layer is optimised for a specific function. The surface is formed by the transparent and 0.55 mm thick wear layer, which is equipped with TopClean XP technology. This gives the floor great resistance to external influences and makes it easy to clean. Underneath the wear layer is the decorative film, which gives the flooring its authentic appearance. Underneath is the core layer reinforced with glass fleece. This gives the planks their particularly high durability and pressure resistance. This layer also ensures dimensional stability. This is followed by a bottom layer with a stabilising levelling layer. The underside of the planks consists of the exclusive anti-slip herringbone backing. It ensures the extraordinary adhesion of the planks to the subfloor and gives them slip resistance in all directions.

This Tarkett design floor is very environmentally friendly

The floor is 100% recyclable and itself consists of 37% recycled material. The plasticizers used are those that are also used, for example, in toy manufacturing or food packaging. The design floor does not contain any phthalates. The emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) are ten times lower than the European standard allows.

Direct contact of coloured rubber or terracotta items can cause permanent discolouration of the floor. Chemicals such as hair dyes, solvents or disinfectants can damage the design floor. Before installing the floor, it must be allowed 24 hours to acclimatise. The room temperature should not fall below 15 °C and not exceed 28 °C during installation. Make sure that the subfloor for the installation of the design floor is dry, clean, free of cracks, firm and even. There must be no residues of oil, grease, paint or wax on the subfloor.
