The main component, cork, which is found in almost every layer of the multi-layer tile construct, goes far beyond the attractive exterior. The breathable and ergonomically highly flexible material has been reworked into an insulating cork base, which focuses on the low thermal conductivity of the natural product. This property is enhanced by an insulating underlay made of cork, which can be connected directly to an underfloor heating system. At the centre of the multi-layer structure, on the other hand, is a middle layer made of HDF, which is used exclusively for dimensional stability. The actual cork decor, on the other hand, is protected by a wear layer whose slip resistance is good for all ages.

With a Blue Angel eco-label, the floating cork flooring moves in the direction of emission class A+, which has been independently certified. In addition to an EPD verification from the Institut für Bauen und Umwelt e.V., the cork logo of the German Cork Association is mainly responsible for this.
