Unlike a real stone floor, however, the design floor is always pleasantly warm underfoot. At the same time, it is extremely robust and easy to clean. As it is also waterproof, it can be laid in almost all residential and commercial rooms. The only exceptions are rooms with floor drains and wet rooms.This Meister design floor is safe for healthAlthough the floor has the benefits of vinyl flooring, it does not contain vinyl. Neither does it contain PCP, PVC or plasticizers. Therefore, there are no chemical vapours and the associated unpleasant odours. This is also attested by the "Blue Angel" and the seal of the ECO Institute. The design floor is made up of three layers. The surface of the floor covering is made of a PUR-based polymer layer using the patented "SilentTouch" technology. Underneath lies the swell-protected AquaSafe special board. It is made from naturally renewable raw materials and has an AquaStop edge impregnation. Underneath the special board there is a counteracting layer that gives the design floor greater dimensional stability.This design floor is particularly renovation-friendlyDue toits low thickness of only 5 mm, this design floor is particularly suitable for the renovation of existing buildings. Since the dimensionally stable AquaSafe special board means that old floor coverings, such as tiles, and small unevennesses in the subfloor do not show in the design floor, the otherwise necessary, time-consuming preparation of the subfloor is not required. This saves you a lot of time and work. Important accessories for the installation of the design floorYouwould like to install this design floor over a hot water floor heating system? No problem. All you need is a vapour barrier. You place this between the subfloor and the design floor. This prevents moisture from penetrating the floor covering from below.When laying a floating floor covering, it is always advisable to install impact sound insulation. Since a floating floor covering forms a resonance body with the subfloor, the walking sound is amplified and the floor becomes unnecessarily loud without impact sound insulation. For a beautiful finish of the design floor to the wall, there are skirtings in different designs. | |
