Glue is not used for this purpose. However, before you start laying the floor, some preliminary work is required. Wood reacts to changes in temperature and humidity. Therefore, before laying the planks of this wooden floor must acclimatize in the room for at least 48 hours - in winter for 3 to 4 days. To do this, lay the unopened packages with the planks flat on the floor of the room. The room temperature must be at least 15 °C and the relative humidity between 30% and 65%. You can install this Meister Lindura wood floor either on the screed or concrete subfloor or over an existing floor covering. This does not apply to textile floor coverings. In any case, the subfloor must be solid, dry, level and clean. In the case of mineral and ceramic subfloors, you must lay a PE film as a vapor barrier between the subfloor and the wood flooring. If the area to be laid is longer or wider than 10 m, you must insert an expansion joint.
