This parquet floor is a purely natural product, as it is made of 100% wood and its surface is sealed with natural oils. These oils are absorbed into the wood and maintain its breathability. This allows the parquet to contribute to a balanced indoor climate by absorbing or releasing moisture into the air. This not only feels more pleasant, but is also healthier for the occupants. Due to the thickness of the oak wear layer, this parquet can be sanded several times. This significantly increases its lifespan. Therefore, the manufacturer also gives a 30-year warranty on this parquet flooring, provided that it is installed in residential areas and not in commercial or industrial environments.This is how the parquet is constructedThesurface of the parquet is formed by a 3.6 mm thick oak layer. This is protected from environmental influences by a treatment with natural oils. These oils are absorbed into the wood and dry oxidatively. This results in a matt surface that underlines the character of the oak wood. Underneath this wear layer lies a solid middle layer of European spruce. This is followed by a counter layer of Nordic spruce veneer. These two together give the parquet its strength and dimensional stability.How to care for your parquet floor properlyAfter thefloor has been installed, you will need to carry out a one-off final cleaning. Normally, you only need to sweep or vacuum the parquet. You can also damp mop it with a parquet special soap. Once a year you should alsotreat thefloor with our parquet care balm.
