This means that you do not have to wax or oil it after installation, a final cleaning is sufficient.What does brushed, naturally oiled surface mean?Brushing is a processing step on the surface of the timber, which creates a kind of relief. This gives the wood a more rustic appearance. Subsequently, natural oils are applied to the surface, which are absorbed deep into the wood. Waxes are not used in this process. With this solution, wipe the parquet with a damp cloth.For regular cleaning, sweeping or vacuuming is usually sufficient. To remove stains or for occasional refreshing care, use the colourless Hain Maintenance Balm, which you apply undiluted to the floor. If this is not enough, use the universal stain remover Dr. Schutz-Elatex. Do not use harsh cleaning agents or hard brushes. Scratches in the surface would make the parquet floor more susceptible to protection and moisture. This Meister parquet is environmentally friendlyThewood used for the production of this parquet comes 100% from sustainable forestry, as evidenced by the PEFC seal. Only natural oils are used for the surface finish. Due to the multi-layer construction of the planks, considerably less oak wood is required for their production than would be the case with solid wood planks.
