Walnut is one of the heaviest native woods. The main cultivation areas of this excellent tree are France and California. The high quality of the walnut solid wood top layer is perfected in this parquet by a matt lacquer finish. As walnut tends to crack and split very quickly due to its distinctive fibres and hardness, the sealing of the pores is therefore an added value which extremely increases the durability of the surface. At the same time, a 3-layer sandwich construction ensures that the 9.5 cm wide and 0.57 m long individual bar is dimensionally stable and very resilient. The main reason for this is the FICHTE-TANNE-MITTELLAGE, which increases the dimensional stability. This effect is reinforced with a counter-bond, resulting in a high-quality bond in the surface. For this purpose, the individual herringbone strips are firmly inserted into each other with an AUTOMATIC-CLICK® joint.
