The raw material cork, taken from nature, is at the same time very environmentally friendly. This means that the high-quality material pollutes the natural environment far less than many other materials. With the emission class A+, this far-reaching environmental friendliness is expressed and thus benefits everyone. The Greenguard certification, on the other hand, is an indication that only low-pollutant and thus chemically unpolluted materials were used for the flooring. The cork flooring, which has also been awarded the Blue Angel eco-label, meets all the requirements that the TÜV and the Institut für Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (Institute for Construction and the Environment) place on flooring of this quality. What has been taken from nature can thus be returned to it in a natural way. In addition to these environmental concerns, cork as a material also convinces with its health-promoting properties. Under the form-stabilising premise of an HDF core construction, several layers of the valuable bark material are used and arranged as underlay, base and veneer.
