The all-round natural-looking XTRAMATT surface of the high-quality cork floor is protected by a protective wear layer WRT. The flooring from the cork Essence series from the brand manufacturer WICANDERS® is thus given easy-care material properties that also prove to be very abrasion-resistant. The surface structure has therefore been sealed and optimised for long durability and quality. The 1-strip plank, which consists of several layers, also features a 0.8 millimetre thick cork veneer, which forms the decorative pattern of the flooring surface. In order to provide high flexibility coupled with high dimensional stability, an insulating and 2.2 millimetre thick cork base has also been processed in addition to an HDF core board. An insulating underlay of 1.5 millimetres completes the overall construction and ensures that it remains dimensionally stable on the living area.

A Loc & Fold click connection has been integrated into the HDF core board, which makes it child's play to handle the floating floor covering. The interlocking planks bear the cork logo of the German Cork Association (Deutscher Korkverband e.V.). This guarantees high material quality, which can also be independently confirmed by the Institute for Building and the Environment (Institut für Bauen und Umwelt e.V.) and TÜV Profi CERT.
