How to maintain the parquet properly?In most cases, the parquet only needs to be swept or vacuumed with a soft broom. You can also wipe it with a damp cloth. To remove stains, use a special wooden floor soap, which you can also get from Parquet Kaiser. Please do not use rags that are too wet, acetone-containing or abrasive cleaning agents. Neither may you use wire brushes for cleaning. Small scratches or cracks can be filled with a special repair compound. To prevent your parquet floor from getting scratches in the first place, use felt pads under the furniture legs. Please note that parquet is a natural material that darkens when exposed to light and especially sunlight. Wicanders offers a range of care products to ensure that your parquet floor stays beautiful for a long time. Use them according to the manufacturer's instructions. If the floor has become unsightly after years of use, they can sand it down. However, you should bear in mind that sanding changes the surface structure of the parquet.
