Although this engineered wood flooring from the Parador brand is always made of oak, it looks quite different - depending on the surface finish. The feel of the wood also changes with the surface treatment. The surface "Wavescraped" has clearly noticeable shallow depressions, as they would be created by the waves of the sea. Rougher and more rustic appears the surface "saw structure". The "hand-scraped" processing method, on the other hand, brings out the natural structure of the wood. With the surface treatment "Elephant Skin", grains and cracks of the wood are emphasized. This gives it an almost antique appearance. If the parquet is brushed, however, the natural grain of the wood is emphasised. The colour spectrum of Parador Engineered Wood Flooring Basic 11-5 Classic Oak wideplank ranges from a light grey through various light brown tones to a deep brown. There is something for everyone. Regardless of the processing, the surface of the boards is sealed by oiling.

The FSC and PEFC seals guarantee that the wood for this parquet flooring comes from sustainable forestry. The "REAL WOOD" seal emphasizes that this parquet is a product made of real wood. The "Blue Angel" is one of the oldest seals. It has been issued by the German government for 40 years and awards environmentally friendly products. The seal "LGA schadstoffgeprüft" is issued by the Landesgewerbeanstalt Bayern, which is part of TÜV Rheinland. It states that the awarded product complies with the minimum legal requirements with regard to carcinogenic, reproductive toxic and/or mutagenic substances. The non-toxicity of the parquet flooring is underlined once again by the "LGA Quality Certificate". The results of long-term tests are also used for this seal.
