The light oak wood gives the room a cosy touch. Combined with simple, modern or rustic furniture, this parquet floor always looks elegant, natural and homely.What are the advantages of this parquet flooring?This ready-to-lay parquet is made up of three layers: the top layer is made of oak, the middle layer of spruce-fir slats and the backing veneer of a coniferous wood. It is therefore completely made of wood and is therefore a pure natural product.This floor covering is ideal for allergy sufferers. There is almost no electrostatic charge and therefore no dust is attracted. Wood is a working material, i.e. it absorbs water vapor when the relative humidity is high and releases it again when the relative humidity drops too much. In this way the parquet promotes a healthy room climate and can prevent illnesses such as hoarseness and coughing. The wood expands or shrinks when water vapour is released. With solid wood parquet, however, this "working" can in the long run lead to distortion of the floor and to cracks. The three-layer structure of the pre-finished parquet is a step ahead, as the elements of the middle layer run at right angles to the alignment of the top layer. This enables them to compensate for a large part of the expansion movements. The finished parquet also requires less precious wood than a solid wood floor. This is resource-friendly. A wooden floor is also environmentally friendly because it binds CO2. One pallet of this parquet contains approximately one ton of CO2. As a 100% natural product, the parquet can be recycled at the end of its useful life or disposed of in household waste. A parquet floor is robust and durable.
