For example, squares can be laid because seven bars next to each other are as wide as one bar is long. Alternatively, the bars can simply be laid one after the other. Another variation, but also much more elaborate, is the herringbone pattern. This also always looks very attractive. A herringbone pattern is particularly effective in very large rooms.
So that laymen can also lay this modern parquet flooring, it is provided with grooves and tongues. These enable floating installation. It is possible to lay this visually attractive parquet flooring in different rooms. The substrate should only be load-bearing and as level as possible. As the parquet has a real wood backing layer, it cannot be laid in damp rooms. The moisture causes the wood to swell and take damage. In all other rooms with normal use, however, this parquet can be laid without hesitation. Underfloor heating does not disturb at all.
To prevent moisture from penetrating into the carrier layer from below, an impact sound insulation including a vapour barrier should be laid on a screed floor underneath the parquet flooring if the floor is laid floating.
Easy to maintain parquet
