Parador Laminate Edition 1

Contemporary design

For Edition 1, the Parador company works together with renowned artists and designers. Twelve of the best-known contemporary designers created designs for it, which were then converted into laminate. The results are new floor designs that are unique in this form.

Edition 1 includes many surfaces - from wood designs like the hip driftwood to abstract patterns and colour fields. Even the surface of a circuit board or huge fabrics can be transformed into exciting floor designs. All these floor coverings have one thing in common: they are clearly different from all other floors seen so far and are true contemporary masterpieces. A floor from Edition 1 is a fully-fledged design element that immediately enhances any room.

The innovative ideas and excellent implementation of this design concept won the reddot design award in 2011. Only the best ideas for contemporary and practicable living are honoured with this prize. The floors of Edition 1 from Parador definitely deserve this award due to their quality and high-grade appearance.

Unusual and practical

Despite all the unusual designs, it is of course important that the floors of Edition 1 are easy to clean and robust. Parador has many years of experience in implementing laminate flooring made of almost 100% wood. Due to their composition, the floors contribute to a pleasant, healthy living environment.

The floors in large format can be laid quickly thanks to their click system. The room can be used immediately after installation. The surface is designed with a minipearl structure that refracts incident light. The haptic experience of this flooring is therefore substantially different from smooth floor coverings. A surface coating ensures that even heavy furniture does not leave scratches on the floor.

The floor has a surrounding mini bevel, which visually enhances the floor. The chamfered bottom boards merge into each other without creating unsightly gaps. Laminate from Parador has the highest service class for private households (23). So it is durable even in rooms that are used a lot. Light moisture is no problem thanks to the coating. The edges of the flooring are also protected by impregnation, which prevents the penetration of moisture.

Extra large panels and extraordinary design

The extra large panels of the laminate perfectly reflect the extraordinary designs. The Parador laminate of Edition 1 is particularly effective in large rooms. Depending on the design, the floors can be perfectly combined with high-quality contemporary interiors.
