Due to their structure, the tiles of this series can compensate for minor unevenness of the subfloor. Even joints of existing ceramic floors are unproblematic up to a width of 8 mm and a depth of 3 mm. Therefore, as a rule, these floor coverings can be laid directly without much pre-treatment of the substrate. They are laid floating, which means: the floor tiles are connected to each other by the specially developed interlocking system, but not glued to the substrate. This system speeds up the installation, compared to other click systems by about 30%. In addition, in rooms up to 20 m x 20 m in size, the floors can be laid without an expansion joint. A skilled tiler can therefore lay 100 m² in eight hours. Since no adhesive is used, the flooring can be used immediately after installation.

The extra-dense, rigid composite core makes these floorings extremely resistant to pressure as well as heavy rolling and static loads. With the id click ultimate 55 series, rolling or static loads, for example from panel lifts or dollies, up to a total weight of 500 kg are unproblematic. Such loads result in maximum indentation marks of 0.02 mm. In addition, the PUR surface protects the floor coverings against abrasion, scratches and stains. Another advantage is that the floors are easy to clean and maintain. Thus, unlike most competing products, these floor coverings no longer require regular maintenance with wax or regenerating polishes.

The floor coverings of the Tarkett id click ultimate 55 series are 100% waterproof. Therefore, they can be used in damp rooms without any problems. Temperature fluctuations from 10 °C to 60 °C are not a problem for these floor coverings. Even under these conditions, they retain their excellent dimensional stability and thus their flawless appearance.

Floating hard floor coverings are often very noisy and therefore usually need to be fitted with additional impact sound insulation. This is because the rigid flooring and subfloor create an air-filled resonant chamber that amplifies and transmits noise to rooms below. This technology ensures a low noise level in the room itself and a reduction of impact sound by 19 dB. Impact sound is the noise that is transmitted to areas below the room. This results in a pleasantly quiet atmosphere without any further measures, which is just as appreciated in offices as in hotel rooms. In addition, there is less cost, because there is no need to buy and install additional impact sound insulation.

These floor coverings are good for the environment and health

Today, a modern floor covering should not only have the appropriate technical characteristics, but also be safe in terms of user health and not harm the environment. The hard floor coverings of this Tarkett series are manufactured entirely without the use of phthalates. Therefore, their VOC emissions are also extremely low, to be more precise, they are below 10 µg/m³ indoor air. This best possible indoor air quality is also attested to by their A+ rating by the French "Émissions Dans L'Air Intérieur" label. The floorings are very durable - Tarkett gives you a 10-year warranty on the id click ultimate 55 series products. Durable products are more environmentally friendly because they reduce material and energy consumption, and there is less waste.
